Welcome to Stock Investing. Chapter One covers Ally Stock Investing website. Chapter Two covers an abundance of Stock Practice Games and Simulations. Chapter Three is a goal of mine about an investing course called ONTU Investing Club.
All chapters are simply my student notes, and aren't professional or advice. This page contains good information, but is still in rough concept phase. The goal of this page is to encourage people of all ages and backgrouds to start your education about finances and investing in the U.S Stock Market. The lines below are what I use to seporate chapters.

Chapter One: Ally Stock Investing website.
.
SPRING 2017: TRADEKING IS NOW ALLY INVEST. THIS ARTICLE OFTEN STATES “TRADEKING” SO IMAGINE IT SAYS ALLY.
.
Ally (Formerly TradeKing) for Dummies. Getting started in Online Stock Investing.
.
* This article is strictly about starting and maintaining a TradeKing portfolio. This is not a guide to other forms of investing. This is not a dictionary or glossary of terminology. This is not any sort of advice.
* Introduction and Caution: These are my student notes, not pro advice. This isn't legal advice, there are major dangers involved when investing. I make no money on this article, and do not work for TradeKing in any way, direct or indirect. TradeKing gives me nothing, and I do not think they are any better than any other broker. A proper investing education can take years. The stock market is fairly safe if you're experienced and careful, but very dangerous if you're not perfectly focused and disciplined. Don't trade from a public computer, ensure security is top priority. You can trade from any major OS browser, be it on Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, or Linux.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Steps in Getting Started with Stock Investing
.
* Google “How to get started in stock investing”.
.
* Search Wikipedia for Stock Market and Investing.
.
* Watch YouTube videos on the basics of the stock market.
.
* Decide if you wish to invest using an in-person broker to help you out, or go the adventurous and cheaper route of doing it all yourself using an Online Broker. You can always buy chat and email coaches. There are also robo-advisors which invest for you.
.
* What broker to use? This article is strictly about online brokers, so find out what broker to use and then investigate them in intricate detail. They all Terms of Service, Rates, Promotions, Promotion Codes, and an amount of time you have until your promotion runs out. Find out what pros and cons there are to different brokers. Most of them have Live Chat during business hours. Many brokers give you a bonus if you input the email of a friend who referred you. When decided on a broker with great rates and a great sign-up promotion, sign up for the online broker. To sign up, you'll need forms of identification, your SSN, and eventually a bank account to put money into the online broker. Many brokers don't want your credit card number, they'll only take a bank account routing number. Your funds take a few days to clear, or a few weeks if it's the first time you've transferred money on that broker. You'll need an email address, a very strong password, and a paper notebook to carefully record the password for the many investing sites you'll use over time.
.
* Each trade will charge a fee when you buy a stock, and another fee later when you sell the stock. TradeKing is a lower cost broker due to its size, so the fees are fairly low around $5.00. Your first trade may be a mistake, so start small, perhaps 50 shares of a low cost stock. Use GoogleNews and GoogleFinance to research available stocks. You may need to give up on it if it goes bad, but use your very best judgement. Never put all your money into one stock, because the market can do anything.
.
.
.
.
.
.
What are some forms of investing?
.
* Online. In person with a broker. In person at your bank. Or even flipping houses on the Real Estate market. There are many ways to invest money or bartered objects.
.
.
.
.
.
.
What is Ally/TradeKing? What does it offer? Who owns it?
.
* TradeKing lets you buy and sell stock, and does not have desktop software, but has online charts. Tradeking Forex lets you trade currencies. Tradeking Advisors, is automated investing.
.
.
.
.
.
.
What markets are there?
.
* There are many markets in the USA and around the world. Hours and subtle details are different in other markets. Some of the US Markets are: Dow. Nasdaq. Nasdaq Canada. NYSE. S&P/TSX. Russel. Composit Indexes. US Treasury Bond.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Royce's Investment History
.
* 2002: I won the Stock Investment challenge at Naches Valley Highschool.
.
* Day I took the Investools course.__. 2012?
.
* 2014: I started my first online broker account, using TradeKing, with only $200.00. I immediately made mistakes with it, but was lucky I didn’t lose anything.
.
* 2017: I've made about $3k as I learn the stock market. Invested $12k long term, about to invest $4k more. Have never withdrawn money. Looks great so far, as I learn it. Spring2017: I'm starting a list of all major Stock Market Simulations and games.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Places to Learn More
.
* Youtube videos. And Udemy, Kahn Academy, etc. There are many online education courses.
.
* Take an adult class or college class about investing.
.
* If you have the big bucks, fly to an Investools course.
.
* Ebooks or physical books can be found on Amazon Kindle, Amazon Audible, Ebay, Goodwill, Yard Sales, your local libraries, and more.
.
.
.
.
.
.
General Tips
.
* Tips and advice depend on the situation. If someone says to buy a stock, beware it can go very bad. Especially if the advice is a few hours old. The market moves fast!
.
* Buying Limit means buying at an exact price. Buying at Market is dangerous because it can rapidly change before you press Buy.
.
* Buying is called Ask. Selling is called Bid.
.
* Bullish is buying. Bearish is selling.
.
* Buying at Market price may be risky, as price changes as you're buying it. So buy at a Limit instead. A limit order specifies exactly what you're buying, and when to automatically sell. You'll sell “Limit Sells” at the highest price you can. Either from a email alert or something automatic.
.
* GTC means Good 'till Canceled. The order stays open for a set amount of months.
.
* How to set to sell at a certain price:
.
* How to auto-buy at a certain price:
.
* How to set a price alert on a stock:
.
* How to buy from Japanese market:
.
* How to find out a company profit outlook:
.
* TradeKingForex is a separate website/login than TradeKing. TradeKingForex doesn't offer any stock trading, and no foreign stock trading. They only offer SpotMetalTrading (gold and silver). Forex means trading of currencies (money).

* TradeKingAdvisors is robot trading for $250.00/year + 0.25%/year fee. $500.00 minimum balance + $1.00/month fee if you don't have $5k available. You set the risk and go. Optionally upgrade to TraditionalAdvisor for $1020.00/year. Email service@tradekingadvisors.com

Chapter Three: ONTU Investing Club.
.
.
.
.
.
.
ONTU Stock Club is a project I was thinking about in the summer of 2017, but stretches back to 2002 when I started practicing the stock market. A nonprofit to teach super-easy stock investing to students (or not students) who qualify via creativity in ideas for improving the world. Not focusing on smart or rich people, but people who have an actual passion for unique ideas. Not just people with a high IQ, not people who have won awards, not people who just want to win a prize. These are people who would give their lives for anyone, and have a heart to keep going when times are rough. Not just people who have any idea how to run a business or have any experience in anything. Anyone can apply, but only people with incredible morality and determination would work out.
.
.
.
.
.
.

.
.
.
.
.
.
Do we meet at a physical location, or online also:

.

Hopefully both, when everything is worked out.
.
.
.
.
.
.

What do we teach:

.

We teach the same topic in many different fun ways, to build a rock-solid spectrum of knowledge.
.
.
.
.
.
.
How long is a semester?
.
.
.
.
.
.
