Basic Steps
.
* 1.Randomly select events to fill out an outline. Examples listed below in the bullied list.
* 2.Search photo sites, such as Google Images, Flickr, Picasa Web Albums, or DeviantArt.com, for things you like. This will help visually stimulate you.
* 3.Start with big random events, such as “ocean” and basic colors. Then add more layers, using smaller events that tie the plot together. Try closing your eyes and drawing curvy lines on paper, or something meditative that helps you to calm down before writing. Find a calm place, and record your ideas. By drawings, voice recorders, typing, etc. You may need a good typing program, such as StarOffice, which is free through GooglePack. Microsoft Word works too, but then you'd be supporting Microsoft.
* 4.This document is a rough draft. It's a personal study in exploring the many layers of what makes a human. In exploring these, there are numerous writing techniques I'm running across. This did not start out as a creative writing technique.
* 5.I'm working on many other ways to generate creative content, if anyone is interested. Such as, looking about your environment and translating that into music in your mind. Associating objects and actions with instruments and tempo.
